How did you get into Street Workout?
I actually found this sport out of boredom at the computer – at boarding school, to be precise.
I was walking around the outdoor stadium and swinging on the bar started to feel exciting.
Biggest achievement?
18th at the 2018 World Cup.
Other sports you have done?
Competitive dance for 13 years.
What motivates you?
I still haven’t figured out what motivation actually means. For me, this sport is more of a necessity.
I feel the need to pull, throw, fly, swing and fall.
How do you relax?
Foam rolling is a brilliant invention – you are your own boss.
Describe your training
Since I spend most of my time training other people, it is terribly hard to find time for myself between schedules.
Every week I find 3 evenings to walk over to the outdoor gym. A workout always has to take place in a different environment.
In street workout this is luckily easy: you pick a new park, the weather changes, or you travel to another city or country to train.
Which supplements do you take?
This one is easy to answer – as few as possible. But energy drinks and recovery drinks are always welcome.
Three tips for those who want to get in better shape
1. Find a sport that suits you – try at least 7 different sports
2. Don’t deal with pseudo-problems during training (the phone stays at home)
3. If you struggle in training, or you aren’t sure whether you are doing something correctly, then for heaven’s sake – don’t be afraid to ask for advice!

What is street workout?
Street workout is bodyweight training that brings together exercises on the pull-up bar, parallel bars, the ground, the wall bars and other similar equipment.
What street workout is made up of
– Recreational athletes (people who train alongside running tracks)
– Bodybuilding, i.e. people who want to build muscle without weights
– Static and dynamic, i.e. held positions and flowing movements on the equipment mentioned above. On the ground, parallel bars, pull-up bar and wall bars alike.
Dynamic is in turn divided into two:
– Freestyle, i.e. tricks
– Power moves, i.e. balance elements and moving in the horizontal plane while holding a static position.
