That’s just how he is. A Tallinn resident who was still diligently working out in the gym during his autumn training set off on another round-the-world bike trip on the second-to-last day of October.
Crazy, you think?
No, just an ordinary Russian, a promoter of health sports, and a curious observer of weather and people.
As mentioned, this is the second time Sergei Lõzhin has gone on such a long journey. A few years ago he pointed his handlebars east and happily finished at Pirita TOP a year and a half later.
This year, no longer a young man, he turned to his previous helpers again to repeat the undertaking. The only difference is that this time he is circling the globe by setting off west.
Andres Kuiv, a former track cycling champion of Estonia, said that they, for their part, gave Lõzhin a good Nishiki bike to ride, along with other technical equipment. Kuiv, the manager of the VeloSpets shop, remembers the adventurer’s earlier success well, and so he has no doubts about the trip that has now begun.
Let us add that Sergei has his own website http://bike.azimuut.ee And anyone who can read Russian, whether still or already, can follow his progress in the Estonija newspaper.
