The latest Tallinn-Helsinki-Stockholm intercity competition took place in Kontula, Helsinki, on 25 January.
Tallinn was represented this time by Janek Nurmeots, Janar Gröön, Aivar Krupp, Erki Krümann and Timo Majuri. Raul Köster, EJTL’s international secretary, accompanied the team as its representative.
With Tallinn unable to field a full team, we had to settle for third place.
Helsinki won overall, ahead of Stockholm.
Janek Nurmeots delivered Tallinn’s best result, scoring a total of 451.28 points to finish 6th overall among 19 competitors.
Aivar Krupp set a personal best with a total of 417.51 points.
Timo Majuri recorded a bench press of 225kg, the best in that discipline at the competition.
EJTL thanks team representative Raul Köster, who did an excellent job as team manager and provided capable assistance to every team member.
Thanks also go to Timo Majuri, whose initiative and financial support played a large part in making the trip possible.
