The Club opens its doors at T1 – set to grow to 6000 m² by 2027

The Club T1 Tallinn has opened a new gym and fitness club with training, coworking, sauna and lounge areas. See what the new club offers.

On Wednesday, July 22 at 14, The Club opened its doors at the T1 center. Under an agreement with T1,
The Club will expand into the premises of the former Cinamon cinema
in the first quarter of 2027, bringing the club’s total area to more than 6000 square meters.
Pre-sales, which began in June, confirmed that there is strong market interest in the new concept. The Core and Flex packages at the early-bird price proved popular, and the club’s membership keeps growing.
“When we created The Club, our goal was to build a place where people come not just to work out,
but to spend quality time: to move, work, recover and meet people with a similar
mindset. The pre-sale results confirmed to us that there is real demand for this kind of
concept in Estonia,” said The Club co-founder Mauri Dorbek.
Covering more than 3000 square meters, the club combines a modern gym, group training and
Reformer Pilates studios, a coworking area with meeting rooms, a sauna and recovery area,
and a lounge with a food and drink menu.
According to Tarmo Hõbe, CEO of the T1 center, The Club is an important part of the center’s long-term
development.
“T1’s aim is to become a place people visit for much more than shopping. We offer
visitors plenty of ways to spend their time here: to exercise, work, dine, socialize and
unwind. The Club fits this vision perfectly, and the next development phase, already confirmed today,
shows that we see very great long-term potential in this concept,” said
Hõbe.
In the first quarter of 2027, The Club will gain approximately 3000 m² of new space. The expansion
will center on ball sports and areas that support social time together. The new
space will include several padel and pickleball courts, a basketball court, additional
coworking areas and outdoor padel courts on the roof of the building.
“Padel is growing in popularity in Estonia very fast, but most existing centers have
been built by converting existing industrial or warehouse space. We have a rare
opportunity to design the entire environment from the ground up exactly the way people want to use it today and
in the future. From the layout of the courts and the ceiling height to the lounges,
the coworking area and the food offering. We are not simply adding yet another padel center to The Club,
but an environment where people want to spend their day,” said Dorbek.
The Club opened on Wednesday, July 22 at 14.00 on the third floor of the T1 center.
