Pärnu Suvi strongman: full results

The Pärnu Suvi strongman competition tested the men in different ways in every event: grip, back and leg strength, mental toughness and endurance. The results are organised here so you can see the overall standings and the gaps between competitors in each event at a glance.

Why the Pärnu Suvi strongman competition mattered

Results like these are more than a list of names. A strongman competition shows just how many forms strength can take. One man moves better while carrying weights, another excels at pressing a log, and a third keeps going right to the end on the stones.

Pärnu Suvi brought together athletes from Estonia, Finland and Latvia. TARMO MITT took the overall win, and his 6P tells a clear story: he was consistent in almost every event. The contest for second and third was much tighter, with JYRKI RANTANEN and PEETER AAN both finishing on 18P.

The simple truth is that one good event is not enough in a strongman competition. If the farmer’s walk goes well but you cannot get the log moving, points quickly slip away. Lose your pace on the stones, and an earlier lead can disappear too.

What a strongman can learn from these results

If you look only at the overall winner, you miss half the picture. TARMO MITT was clearly the most consistent, but other competitors had their share of event wins and standout moments too. MEELIS HÜVATO’s win in Power Stears shows that a single event can give a competitor a real boost, even if they finish outside the top three overall.

There is a useful reminder here for your training. A strongman needs carrying and lifting ability, explosive power and recovery. None of these works in isolation. If your grip gives out, a strong back will not save you. If your legs tire, lifting the stones becomes difficult too.

Frankly, the real value of past results is that they give you a point of comparison. Not every workout has to replicate a competition event, but the numbers help you understand the type of effort strongman events actually demand.
